Where is Small World Threads based?
Small World Threads is proudly based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin! We’re a small, local brand inspired by the places we live, the people we love and all the little moments that make life memorable. From small-town roots to family life and Wisconsin pride, our designs are made to celebrate the things that make us smile.
Why does my package have a return address that isn't in Wisconsin?
Great question! While Small World Threads is proudly based in Oconomowoc, WI, we use a dropshipping fulfillment partner to print and ship many of our orders. That means your package may come from a different location and have a return address that isn’t local. Your order is still coming from Small World Threads, just with a little help getting it from our designs to your doorstep.
Does Small World Threads design its own products?
Absolutely! We create our designs ourselves with a focus on original artwork, local pride, nostalgia and everyday life. We don’t use AI to create our designs.
Where are your products made?
Our products are printed and fulfilled by trusted production partners, so the location can vary by product. We work with partners who help us offer quality products without having to keep a giant warehouse of inventory.
How long will my order take to ship?
Because our products are made to order, please allow a little extra time for production before your order ships. Shipping times can vary by product and destination. You’ll receive tracking information once your order is on its way.
Can I return or exchange my order?
Because many of our products are made to order specifically for you, returns and exchanges may be limited. If there’s an issue with your order, please reach out to us and we’ll do our best to make it right.
Do you offer local pickup in Oconomowoc?
We don’t currently offer standard local pickup, but we love seeing our products out in the community! Follow along for local pop-ups, events and other opportunities to shop Small World Threads in person.
Do you ship outside of Wisconsin?
Yep! While we’re proudly Wisconsin-based, our threads can travel far beyond the 262. We ship throughout the U.S.
Do you offer custom designs?
We love a good local idea! Custom orders aren’t currently available through the regular shop, but feel free to reach out if you have an idea you think belongs in the Small World Threads lineup.

The best way is to follow us on social media and join our email list. That’s where we share new collections, limited drops, local designs and special offers first.
